Getting Started in Death’s Domain

To dive into these new permanent servers, players must start with a brand-new character that has not yet completed the Tutorial Island experience. Once on the island, you need to locate a new NPC, Death’s Delegate, who is positioned near Paul the Iron Tutor. After speaking with her and expressing your clear interest in the Hardcore challenge, you will be directed to finalize your training by speaking to the Magic Instructor. During this final step, the Magic Instructor will provide unique dialogue noting that you have attracted the interest of Death himself. Upon completing the tutorial steps, using your Home Teleport will transport you to Death’s Office rather than the usual spot outside Lumbridge Castle, signaling your official entry into the Hardcore challenge and prompting you to hop over to a designated Hardcore World to begin.
