Several major musicians have started posting exclusive Grand Theft Auto VI artwork on social media, strongly suggesting they will feature on the game’s soundtrack. On September 15, 2026, artists including Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards shared never-before-seen GTA VI images, just over two months before the game’s November 19 launch.

Who has posted

Kotaku counted nine acts taking part: Travis Scott, Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, Metro Boomin, Future, Yung Lean, PinkPantheress and the duo Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso. The artwork included an empty swimming pool, a flamingo pool float and a close-up of feet in heels, all in GTA VI’s style. Keith Richards posted an image featuring an iguana.

Travis Scott went furthest, writing alongside his post: “NOW ITS TIME. MY RETURN TO GAME. GOTTA COME WITH RAGE AND A LOT OF DANCING. LET’S RIDE.”

Confirmed versus expected

Rockstar has not published an official tracklist or confirmed which songs will appear. What is confirmed is that these artists shared official GTA VI artwork at the same time, which points to a coordinated marketing push. Kotaku’s reporting said it expects all of them to have songs on the game’s radio stations, but until Rockstar confirms, their exact involvement should be treated as expected rather than certain.

The timing is also interesting because soundtrack data that leaked last month did not include songs from any of these artists. That suggests the final soundtrack is larger than the leak showed, and that Rockstar kept some of its biggest names back for official promotion. Rockstar has not named the game’s radio stations in detail as part of this campaign.

Why music matters for GTA

Licensed music has been part of Grand Theft Auto’s identity since the series’ early days, with in-game radio stations reflecting the setting and era. GTA VI is set in the state of Leonida, a modern take on Florida centred on Vice City, and the mix of names here, spanning hip-hop, country, rock and Latin music, fits that setting. Vice City’s Latin influence makes artists such as Rauw Alejandro a natural fit.

Release details

GTA VI launches on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is not coming to PC at launch. According to Rockstar, there will be no disc-based copies at launch, so every version will require a digital download.

Why it matters

A soundtrack this varied shows how big Rockstar’s ambitions for GTA VI are, and the artist posts are a sign that marketing is ramping up ahead of launch. For players, the radio is a big part of what makes GTA’s world feel alive, and a deep soundtrack adds to the game’s replay value.

For fans in the GCC, where GTA is one of the most popular franchises on console, the practical points are the November 19 date, the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms and the digital-only launch. With no disc version, it is worth making sure you have enough storage and a solid connection before launch day.
