RuneScape is making Agility more accessible across the board. The second batch of Summer Sweep Up changes hit August 12th, and the headline shift is a significant reduction in gatekeeping for endgame content.

The Hallowed Sepulchre—the game’s toughest Agility grind—just got friendlier. Floor 4’s entry requirement dropped from 82 to 77, and Floor 5 fell from 92 to 87. More importantly, you can now boost into these floors using items like Summer pie. That means a player at 72 Agility can pie up and tackle Floor 4. Floor 5’s Grand Coffin also now accepts either 84 Thieving or 92 Agility (with boosts viable for both), adding flexibility to how you approach it.

Colossal Wyrm Gets the Chill Treatment

The Colossal Wyrm Agility course took the opposite route—it’s now less demanding in terms of inputs per hour. The basic course duration increased by roughly 25%, the advanced by 40%. XP, Bone shards, and Termites all scaled up proportionally, so you’re pulling the same rewards per hour but don’t need to sweat as hard to get them. Quality-of-life win for anyone grinding this one.

Eight New Shortcuts Across the Map

Travel buffs are hitting hard. A level 49 gap in Draynor Manor’s fence, level 52 stepping stones south of the Champion’s Guild, and a level 54 shortcut on Giant’s Plateau for desert access are the headline additions. Higher-level players get the goods too: level 79 stones at River Elid, level 82 stepping stones near Mos le’Harmless (improving Treasure Trail routes), and a level 83 shortcut west of Pollnivneach.

Two-way travel matters now—the rock-climb between Catherby and Taverley is now bidirectional at level 68.

Grapple Shortcuts Go Equipment-Free

A cluster of existing grapple and crossbow shortcuts no longer require equipment to use, though their level requirements climbed accordingly. The broken raft in River Lum jumps from level 8 grapple to level 48 barehanded. Falador’s rough wall is now level 52 barehanded instead of level 11 grapple. The Water Obelisk island shortcut is now doable barehanded at level 72 (up from level 36 grapple).

One caveat: Achievement Diary tasks tied to grapple shortcuts still require you to use the actual grapple to count.

The Zaryte crossbow is now recognized for Crossbow Agility shortcuts, and the Clock Tower fence got slightly more passable.
