ما نعرفه رسمياً عن الشخصية حتى الآن.
Russia. Sova is written as a hunter first and a soldier second, and the distinction runs through everything about him. He does not clear a site. He finds you on it, tells everyone where you are, and lets his team do the rest.
He is one of the launch agents and one of the few whose kit has barely needed reworking, which is usually a sign a character was designed around a clear idea rather than a mechanic somebody wanted to try.
Sova is information, converted into a weapon.
VALORANT is a game where you die because you did not know something. Sova exists to remove that excuse for his team and enforce it on yours. Every ability he has answers a version of the same question: where are they standing right now.
Initiator. His owl drone is a pilotable scout that fires marking darts to reveal whoever it hits. His shock bolt is an explosive arrow that detonates on impact. His recon bolt is an arrow that pulses and reveals every enemy in its line of sight, and it can be shot down.
His ultimate fires up to three long energy beams that pass straight through walls, damaging and revealing anything they cross.
Sova is the agent that made VALORANT a game with lineups. His arrows bounce, and a bounce is deterministic, which means a specific spot on a specific wall at a specific angle produces the same result every single time. Players learned those spots, wrote them down, and turned recon into a script.
That is the real experience of playing him. You are not aiming at an enemy, you are aiming at a piece of architecture you have hit a thousand times, and the payoff arrives two seconds later when three enemies light up on a site nobody has walked into yet.
Playing against him is about breaking the script. Shoot the drone, shoot the bolt, and learn where his lineups land so you can stand two steps outside them. A Sova whose arrows are being destroyed on arrival is an initiator with a bow and no impact.
Players who enjoy preparation. If the idea of practising a shot in a custom game for twenty minutes so it works forever sounds satisfying rather than tedious, Sova will reward you more than any other agent in the game.
Skip him if you want to improvise. Sova without lineups is still functional, because a drone is a drone, but you are playing roughly half the character and the half you are missing is the one that wins rounds before they start.
