Two Point Studios has officially expanded the experience in Two Point Museum with the launch of the Rides & Relics DLC. Players are invited to take on the role of a Funfair Expert to revitalize Riquetti Gardens, a once-famous amusement park in Two Point County that has sat abandoned and rusting for decades. The expansion focuses on blending high-octane engineering with traditional museum curation.

New Park Mechanics and Content

Players can look forward to a significant influx of new content aimed at blending amusement park mechanics with museum management. The core of the DLC centers on the new Riquetti Gardens location and a brand-new five-star story campaign. Beyond the new setting, the expansion introduces custom coaster design, allowing players to build and personalize their own coasters across five unique themes. You will have full control over the technical specifications of your rides, including adjustments for height, tilt, and camber.

To keep the park running, the update adds a specialized ‘Funfair Expert’ role. These experts will need to manage complex tasks like ride maintenance, mascot entertainment, and balancing the delicate act of placing high-velocity thrill rides next to fragile, ancient artifacts. The DLC also includes:

* Over 15 funfair-themed exhibits and ‘Antique Amusements.’
* Expeditions to the abandoned Gearbox Fairgrounds.
* Ten new collectable mascots hidden throughout expeditions.
* New utility items such as a helipad, ticket desks, and themed outdoor decorations like hedges and fences.

Why it matters

For players, Rides & Relics introduces a substantial shift in gameplay by moving beyond static museum exhibits into active park management. The introduction of custom coaster design and ride maintenance mechanics adds a new layer of complexity to the game’s management loops. It encourages players to think about guest flow and entertainment in a way that balances the preservation of historical artifacts with the chaos of a functioning funfair.

This update is designed for fans looking to extend their campaign progress and experiment with more creative, open-ended building tools. While the developer has not specified regional pricing adjustments or server-side changes for the Middle East or other specific regions, the base game and its expansions remain standard additions to the Two Point simulation series on PC. As you jump back into the role of curator, keep an eye on how these new ride maintenance requirements impact your overall museum rating.
