PlayStation Plus September Games: Sniper Elite Resistance, MLB The Show 26, and More

PlayStation Plus is bringing four new games to its monthly lineup starting September 1, spanning stealth action, sports simulation, co-op sandbox fun, and classic JRPG storytelling. Members will have access to Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes until October 5.

What’s Coming to PS Plus This Month

Sniper Elite: Resistance brings the series’ signature sniping and third-person tactical combat to occupied France, running parallel to Sniper Elite 5. The game supports co-op throughout its full campaign and brings back Axis Invasion mode, letting players invade another’s campaign as an enemy sniper. For those wanting competitive action, 16-player online battles are available to earn XP, medals, and ribbons. If PvP isn’t your speed, Survival mode lets up to 4 players team up against waves of enemies.

MLB The Show 26 emphasizes immersive baseball across enhanced game modes, new stadium effects, and evolved features. Road To The Show has been expanded with 11 new college teams alongside the MLB Draft Combine. Diamond Dynasty mode introduces Red Diamond rarity player cards sourced from World Baseball Classic, 2026 All-Star Game, and Pipeline Series card collections. PS Plus members get exclusive access to the Jump Start Bundle, which includes 5 The Show Packs, 1 Equipment Pack, and the Jumpstart Choice Pack to customize your Road To The Show player and accelerate your Diamond Dynasty squad building. This bundle is available for a limited time.

Wobbly Life is a cooperative sandbox that supports solo play or up to three other players via online or local split-screen co-op. The game features an open world packed with interactive elements, mini-games, toys, and secrets alongside story missions with unique rewards. New in this release are Arcade mode options: Trash Zone, Hide & Seek, Wobble Run, and Sandbox, each with customizable settings and multiple mini-games.

Chained Echoes is a story-driven single-player JRPG set in the fantasy continent of Valandis, where three kingdoms wage war. Players guide a group of heroes across diverse landscapes—wind-tanned plateaus, exotic archipelagos, sunken cities, and forgotten dungeons—using swords, magic, or piloted mechs in a 16-bit Golden Era style.

Why These Games Matter

This month’s lineup balances action, sports, multiplayer chaos, and narrative-focused RPGs, giving PS Plus subscribers varied experiences across multiple play styles. Sniper Elite: Resistance and Wobbly Life cater to co-op players, while MLB The Show 26 targets sports fans with deep progression systems. Chained Echoes appeals to JRPG enthusiasts looking for classic-styled storytelling. The inclusion of MLB The Show 26 with its exclusive Jump Start Bundle gives PS Plus members a head start in Diamond Dynasty, one of the game’s primary long-term modes.

What’s Next

PS Plus members have until August 31 to claim August’s games before they rotate out. The September lineup becomes available starting September 1 and remains accessible through October 5, so there’s a full month to explore each title.
