Team Vitality has confirmed that its V.Hive headquarters, located on the Boulevard de Sébastopol in central Paris, was broken into and looted during public unrest on Saturday, 17 October. According to Esports Insider, the organization reported that display windows at the facility were shattered during the incident. While the organization confirmed that significant property was taken, officials stated that no staff or visitors were injured during the intrusion.

Reports from GosuGamers and HLTV have provided further details regarding the theft. Among the stolen items is the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 CS2 trophy, which the team secured less than a month prior. Vitality achieved that title on 20 September after defeating Aurora Gaming 3-1 in a final held in Barcelona, marking the team’s sixth trophy win of the 2026 season. Footage cited in these reports showed individuals removing gaming chairs and a computer monitor from the premises. While Team Vitality has confirmed that multiple trophies are missing in total, they have not yet released a full inventory of the stolen property.

Status of the V.Hive venue

Team Vitality issued an official statement on 18 October, confirming that the facility will remain closed indefinitely. The organization is currently conducting a thorough damage assessment to determine the full extent of the loss and the repairs required to restore the space. As of now, there is no set date for when the venue will be able to welcome fans or staff back to the facility.

Why it matters

V.Hive has served as a central hub for the Paris esports community since its opening in 2019. The 400-square-metre space is more than just a corporate headquarters; it functions as a destination for the public, featuring gaming stations, a café, a merchandise store, and dedicated areas for training, tournaments, and viewing parties. Co-founder and CEO Fabien “Neo” Devide previously positioned the venue as a means to increase accessibility to esports, notably keeping the cost of gaming sessions at €3.50 per hour despite broader economic inflation.

The indefinite closure represents a significant disruption for local players who rely on the venue’s accessible infrastructure. Furthermore, the loss of historical trophies marks a painful blow to the organization’s competitive legacy. As the organization continues its damage assessment, fans and community members are encouraged to monitor Team Vitality’s official communication channels for future updates regarding a potential reopening timeline and any further information regarding the recovery of their stolen equipment and championship memorabilia.
